Rana Daggubati-starrer 'Haathi Mere Saathi' release postponed to March

The release of actor Rana Daggubati-starrer mutli-lingual movie has been postponed to 26 March. Titled 'Haathi Mere Saathi' in Hindi, 'Kaadan' in Tamil and 'Aranya' in Telugu, the film's initial 2020 release was delayed due to COVID-19. The Prabhu Solomon-directed movie shares the story of a man who stands up for the rights of wild animals.

UK unveils post-Brexit passport, made by Franco-Dutch firm

The British government has unveiled the country's new, post Brexit passports made by French-Dutch firm Gemalto at its site in Tczew, Poland. The blue-coloured passports will be issued in March 2021, British Home Secretary Priti Patel announced. UK's passport was originally navy blue in colour but was changed to burgundy in 1988, in line with EU rules.

May air traffic picks up after reduction in fares: IATA

International Air Transport Association (IATA) has stated that global passenger air traffic rose 30% as airlines cut domestic fares by an average 23% to encourage customers to return. Passenger demand in April plunged 94.3% compared to April 2019 due to worldwide travel restrictions. This was a deterioration from the 58.1% decline recorded in March, showing that April was the toughest month for Aviation.

Fire in Moscow nursing home, 9 dead and more injured

According to reports, nine people are dead and many moved to intensive care after a fire broke out in a retirement home in Moscow. The privately-owned care home in Krasnogorsk town erupted around midnight on 10 May and brought under control in an hour. 37 people were in the building including residents who were not mobile. Employees were unable to carry them out from the smoke.
