Education and UAE

World Education Day

Speaking of AlShorts’ native country, UAE has shown a tremendous improvement and surge in respect of education and training their nationals for a better career and innovation. Sharjah, to be precise, motivates Emiratis to indulge more into reading and education. There are several open libraries for the nationals to understand and grasp the knowledge from different cultures and industries, to root them towards a path of better tomorrow.

UAE, indeed, has set an example of a flourishing economy in a short span of time. Encouraging their residents and nationals towards better education, is what UAE leaders prompt their people to. And thus, UAE celebrates this day with great enthusiasm by encouraging every age group national to base their choice by grabbing every inch of knowledge and education required. In some parts of the world where Education is still a luxury, UAE sets a pioneering example of pushing their people towards education for free (and sometimes paying them to do so).

Speech on World Education Day

World Education Day

World leaders have time and again given speech on world education day. According to Nelson Mandela, education can help a person develop a conscious and awake state of mind. During a speech on education, Mandela attempted to guide students on the importance of learning by quoting Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. He said that education upholds a person’s status by allowing him to take opportunities and gives him freedom for action. An uneducated man is less likely to progress in career than someone who has been taught about things.

Mandela’s Education Day speech is widely popular among lecturers in South Africa who often quote his example in recognizing and instilling efforts. Various other leaders have also given speeches on world education day, want to know more?

Education is still a luxury for many, whether you believe it or not! However, it must be solely available as a NECESSITY. If you wish to do something noble this International Education Day then donating books or education packages to a needy might be a good way to start. You can also offer voluntary classes to children who cannot afford basic education.
