The Academy Awards, popularly known as Oscars are dedicated awards to honour the artistic and technical merit in the film industry offering an international recognition of excellence in cinematic achievements.

Speaking of Oscars 2020, celebrities and their fans have been long waiting for the coverage.

From the award recognition to apparels scream, well everything in OSCARS counts! And the red carpet is just the beginning of WOW descriptions of all the celebrities who will always be remembered by the walls of Academy Awards.

The pinnacle of glamour in Hollywood is for all to see on the night of the Oscars. Hollywood stars descend from their abodes and grace the iconic red carpet.

For our readers today, we have shared the best of 5. Let’s begin:

Best Gown:

No matter how ‘woke’ we may be, no one is immune to the couture gowns showcased on the red carpet. The question, ‘who are you wearing tonight?’ is crucial for every host to ask.

Here are the most eye-catching red carpet looks for the Oscars 2020

Natalie Portman!

All hail the queen Natalie Portman! Unlike anything ever seen before on the red carpet, Natalie called out the Academy on all the women nominees that they had snubbed.

She had their names etched in her elegant Dior cape. It featured the last names of eight women directors of critically-acclaimed 2019 films — none of whom were nominated (in fact, no women were nominated by the Academy for the Best Director category)

Scarlett Johansson

Black Widow aka Scarlett Johansson dripped with sparkle. Nominated for her powerful performance in ‘Marriage Story’, she wowed everyone with the clever and strategic cuts to her bodice to showcase her tattoos.

She wore a shimmering silvery Oscar de la Renta gown with a fringe bodice and satin skirt.

Brie Larson

Brie Larson channeled her inner ‘Captain Marvel’ and brought along with her all the stars of the galaxy.

With an elegant trail cape, she wore a ‘Celine’ by Hedi Slimane dress adorned in 13,000 Swarovski crystals and 110,000 glass beads. Brie didn’t walk the red carpet, she ruled it!

Janelle Monae

If anyone could have rocked the quintessential Hollywood glamour on the red carpet, it had to be Janelle Monae.

There are no words to describe her ensemble of stunning Ralph Lauren gown which was covered in more than 168,000 Swarovski crystals.

Post her opening performance on the Oscar stage, she was back in the seats rocking this gown.

Billy Porter's

Billy Porter's red-carpet style transcends fashion. Accept this fact and repeat it to yourself.

He made a Gold- statement with his gown by British designer Giles Deacon - who was in fact inspired by the artwork in Buckingham Palace for the intricate skirt.

Well, this look and the gold lace-up heels by Jimmy Choo are one for the records.

Best Look:

In the amazing world of Hollywood, eye candy is all around. Look at the men for an instace.

From the rugged looks of Clint Eastwood and chiselled grace of Paul Newman, the men from Hollywood bring in beauty and grace to the red carpet.

Let’s take a look at some of the best looks on the Red carpet.

Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves was the epitome of dapper in his black Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo and Cartier studs. His look was concluded with his trade mark long locks and salt and pepper beard.

Brad Pitt

Oscar winner for best supporting Actor, Brad Pitt may have played a retired stuntman in Quintin Tarantino’s ‘Once upon a time .. in Hollywood’, but on the red carpet he sizzled.

The matte Velvet Jacket, was alas not the focus of attention. It was his casually unkempt hair style that had Twitterati in a tizzy.

Timothée Chalamet

Of course, Timothée Chalamet did not wear a traditional tuxedo on the Oscars red carpet.

He wore a Prada look zip up jacket making him look like a chic mechanic.

He matched his ensemble with vintage 1955 Cartier brooch to the 2020 Oscars stage where he was presenter for the night.

Roman Griffin Davis and Archie Yates

The adorable stars of ‘Jojo Rabbit’ ROMAN GRIFFIN DAVIS AND ARCHIE YATES stole every one’s hearts.

The young boys were dressed in super adorable tuxes, equipped with braces. Fittingly, both took on the peace sign as their go-to pose.

Spike Lee

Director Spike Lee wore a custom purple Gucci suit with gold trim. In a beautiful tribute to legend Kobe Bryant, he had '24' stitched on the lapels and on the back of his jacket. Now that’s friendship.

Best Moments:

Oscars are nothing but a recognition of one’s emotions captured on screen. But, behind the screen, it is a completely different story.

Fellow nominees are best friends who have a moment to catch up, talent from across border mingles with Hollywood elite. Here are some of the best moments of Oscar 2020.
