Sri Lanka police arrest 'Mrs World' for on-stage brawl

The current 'Mrs World' has been arrested by police after an on-stage fiasco where she pulled the crown off the new Mrs. Sri Lanka. Caroline Jurie was arrested after she assaulted Pushpika de Silva minutes as she was declared ‘Mrs Sri Lanka 2020’, in front of a live audience. Jurie had claimed that de Silva was divorced and therefore ineligible for the prize. She was granted bail on Thursday.
