Pakistan PM Imran Khan asked his economic team to treat all Pakistanis living abroad as VIPs. "Around nine million overseas Pakistanis are the country’s asset," Imran Khan said at a ceremony held to launch the "Sohni Dharti Remittance Programme (SDRP)" – a move aimed at encouraging the use of formal channels. Khan added that the govt was working on a plan to give overseas Pakistanis tax concession as well.
