Masdar to develop Azerbaijan solar power plant

Masdar is signing agreements worth USD200 million to develop a utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) project in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The 230-megawatt (MWac) project will be the country’s first foreign investment-based independent solar project structures as a public-private partnership to address global challenges. Azerenerji OJSC will work on the purchase of electricity generated at the plant.
