Indian Indices edge lower as dragged by losses of banking shares
Indian equity benchmark edged in the red zone on Friday in the opening session after losses witnessed in heavyweight stocks. BSE Sensex fell by 246 points while Nifty50 Index saw a drop of 60 points, trading at 49,538 and 14,813 respectively. Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, and Larsen & Toubro were heavyweight stocks in a depreciating movement.
