UK Govt prepares task force to tackle banking crimes explosion

UK government is preparing a task force to tackle an explosion in the financial and banking crimes wrecking the lives of Britons. More than £745m was stolen from customers' bank accounts in the first half of this year. This stolen money was an authorised push-payment fraud where scammers persuaded consumers to transfer funds from their accounts.
