India's COVID-19 recovery rate surges past 98%

India reported 30,757 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. Another 67,538 recoveries and 541 deaths were logged during the same period. The active caseload in the country stands at 332,918 infections, which is just 0.78% of total cases. The recovery rate in the country has surged to 98.03%.
