India's active COVID-19 caseload drops below 300k

India reported 25,920 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. Another 66,254 recoveries and 492 deaths were logged during the same period. The active caseload in the country stands at 292,092 infections, which is 0.68% of total cases. More than 1.74 billion doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been rolled out in India so far.
