India's active caseload drops below 1 million cases

India reported 67,597 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. Another 180,456 recoveries and 1,188 deaths were logged during the same period. The active caseload in the country stands at 994,891 infections, which is 2.35% of total cases. More than 1.70 billion doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been rolled out in India so far.
