India's active caseload at 0.99% of total cases

India reported 27,409 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. Another 82,817 recoveries and 895 deaths were logged during the same period. The active caseload in the country stands at 478,882 infections, which is 0.99% of total cases. More than 1.73 billion doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been rolled out in India so far.
