Haryana minister's comment on farmers sparks row

Haryana Agriculture Minister J. P Dalal said that the farmers who died during the protests "would have died even if they had stayed back home." The statement came as Dalal responded to a media query on over 200 farmers’ deaths during the ongoing stir. Several farmers participating in the agitation had died of different reasons, including cardiac arrest.
