COVID-19: Over 8 million vaccinated in India, Gujarat tops in list

India has vaccinated 8,052,454 people against COVID-19 since the beginning of its vaccination drive on 16 January. It took Indian authorities 169,215 sessions to vaccinate the said number of individuals. At 6,76,453, Gujarat has the highest number of people who have received their 1st dose of the vaccine. Meanwhile, the South Asian country also started rolling out the 2nd dose of vaccine on 13 February.
