COVID-19: Mexico receives 1 million India-made vaccine Covishield

Mexico today received one million jabs of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, which is being manufactured by the Serum Institute of India. Dominica and Barbados also received the 'Made in India' vaccine under the 'Vaccine Maitri initiative', earlier this week. India has also supplied its Covishield vaccine to Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Seychelles.
