14 pilgrims heading towards Ajmer killed in early morning road accident

Fourteen people were killed and four others sustained injuries in a van-truck collision on Hyderabad-Bengaluru national highway (NH-44) in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district today morning around 3.30am. The group of pilgrims from Chittoor district were heading to Ajmer, Rajasthan. Preliminary probe suggests that driver of the bus apparently lost control and hit the lorry that was coming from the opposite direction.
