Treasure of rare coins found in Sharjah

Sharjah Archaeology Authority (SAA) stated that they found several ancient Islamic coins in the central region of Sharjah. The coins are rare silver Dirhams, along with one copper penny, that date back to the Abbasid Caliphate era. The coins were discovered during an excavation operation conducted in Sharjah in September 2021.
