Sharjah approves 100% foreign ownership of commercial firms

Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) is set to implement full foreign ownership policy from June 2021. This will allow investors to own 100% of commercial and industrial firms in the Emirate. The decision will allow branches of foreign companies to conduct their business in the Emirate without needing an agent, and have no specific capital requirements.
