UAE makes history with first working Friday

Federal government sector and local government employees, for the first time in the history of the UAE, worked on Friday from 7.30AM until noon. Mosques in the country will begin, to unify the date of holding the Friday sermon and prayer, at 1:15 in the afternoon throughout the year. The new work system will include the possibility of applying flexible working hours and the remote work system on Friday.
