Abu Dhabi lights up iconic landmarks in blue for diabetes awareness

Abu Dhabi, on Monday night, saw iconic landmarks across the capital light up in blue to mark World Diabetes Day. The initiative included 13 landmarks around the city lit in blue; the colour of the circle represents the universal symbol for diabetes. The sites included Mubadala Tower, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Sheikh Zayed Bridge, Emirates Palace, Hazza Stadium, and others.
