Rafael Nadal has turned down the invitation to compete at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. The Spanish tennis star thanked the organisers for offering him a 'wild card entry' but turned the offer down saying, "I don’t think I am ready to play yet". Nadal's last assignment was the Australian Open 2021, where his campaign ended after losing the quarter-final game to Stefanos Tsitsipas.
