DUBAI OPEN 2021: Shapovalov and Karatsev reach Men's semi-finals

Denis Shapovalov booked a place in the semi-finals at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. The third-seeded Canadian struck 26 winners and looked fresh in a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Jeremy Chardy of France. Shapovalov will now play South African qualifier Lloyd Harris, who beat Kei Nishikori in the quarter-finals. Aslan Karatsev also advanced into the semis after he outlasted 16th seed Jannick Sinner 6-7(5) 6-3 6-2.
