Tokyo Olympics to spread 'hope to the world': WHO Chief

World Health Organisation (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus backed the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The sporting events will spread "hope to the world", Ghebreyesus said. "More than any other event (the Games) have the power to bring the world together; to inspire; to show what is possible", he told the International Olympic Committee in Tokyo with the Olympic flame in his hand.
