Max Verstappen became the first Dutchman to win the Formula One world championship title, after winning the dramatic season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday. Verstappen was confirmed as F1 World Champion after the FIA stewards rejected Mercedes' appeal over the result at the Yas Marina Circuit. The Red Bull driver won his 10th race of the season to finish ahead of seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton.
