China's Qian Yang bagged the first gold of the Tokyo Olympics in women's 10m air rifle at the Asaka Shooting Range. She benched a new Final Olympic Record of 251.8 points, knocking out Nina Christen from Switzerland with 230.6 points. The first medal ceremony of Tokyo 2020 Olympics presented Tang with a gold medal by President Thomas Bach.
