Pakistan Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary alleged that a threatening mail was sent from India to the New Zealand cricket squad, prompting the Kiwis to call off their tour to Pakistan. It was the first time in 18 years that New Zealand called off their tour to Pakistan due to a security threat. Pakistan has also been claiming that the neighbouring country was behind some recent terror attacks.
