India: Girl, aged 8, dies after whistle gets stuck in her throat

An 8-year-old girl in India’s Bihar died after a plastic whistle got stuck in her throat. The incident happened when she was playing with a whistle at her home, and it got stuck, after which she choked to death. Family members have alleged that she died after doctors in two nearby cities refused to treat her. They added that hospitals also refused to provide an ambulance to the patient.
