Global COVID-19 caseload breaches 416 million mark

More than 416 million cases of COVID-19 have been reported across the world since the beginning of the pandemic in late 2019. While Over 338 million infections have recovered, more than 5.8 million deaths have been induced by the deadly virus. The US and India remain the worst-affected countries, with 79.6 million and 42.7 million cases of COVID-19, respectively.
