Renowned Tamil director-cinematographer KV Anand has passed away aged 54 due to COVID-19 complications. He suffered from a heart attack and passed away at a hospital in Chennai. Celebrities including Rajinikanth, Dhanush, and Mohanlal, joined Anand's fan to pay tributes on social media, saying that Indian cinema had lost another gem.
