India's Best International Feature entry out of race at Oscars

Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced its shortlists in 10 categories. India’s official entry this year for Best International Feature, Tamil film ‘Koozhangal (Pebbles)’ crashed out of the race for Oscars. However, Rintu Thomas' 'Writing with Fire' in the documentary feature category is still in contention for an appreciation at the mega event.
