Supreme Court grants interim bail to comedian Munawar Faruqui

Supreme Court has granted interim bail to comedian Munawar Faruqui after his arrest in Madhya Pradesh. Supreme court has issued the notice to MP Police on Faruqui’s plea challenging the High Court order. He was denied bail on 28 January after his arrest in a case for alleged hurting of religious sentiments and passing indecent remarks during a show.
