Sensex rises 250+ points in the opening session

BSE Sensex 266 points to 52,652 levels in the opening session on Monday. NSE Nifty50 was also trading in the green zone as it gained 83 points to hit 15,773 levels. UltraTech Cement, Tata Consumer Products, Maruti Suzuki India, and ICICI Bank were the top gainers on Nifty50. As many as 11 companies, including Steel Strips Wheels and Welcure Drugs & Pharmaceuticals, will release their quarterly earnings today.
