Sensex jumps 245 points in opening session

BSE Sensex was trading at 52,551 levels, up 245 points, in the opening session on Thursday. NSE Nifty50 was also in the green zone at 15,749 levels on the back of a 62 point rise. TCS, Infosys, and Tata Steel were the top gainers, while Bajaj Auto and NTPC were the top losers on Sensex. The S&P BSE MidCap index was flat, and the SmallCap index was up 0.3%.
