Rupee plummets against Dollar amid pandemic uncertainties

Indian Rupee plunged 27 paise to INR73.17 against the US Dollar in the opening trade on Wednesday. Several Asian currencies started flat or weaker against the Dollar as uncertainties continue around the global economic recovery amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Rupee had settled at INR72.90 against the US Dollar on Tuesday.
