Man floats 7 fake companies for INR3.76 billion GST fraud

A man from Gurugram, Haryana has been arrested on charges of claiming false GST refunds of over INR3.76 billion. The accused availed fake ITC while operating seven dummy, fake and non-existent firms. For the said firms, the accused was awarded INR371 million refund from the government. He was also found to be a habitual offender after a similar case from the past against him came to light.
