Former ICICI CEO Chanda Kochhar released on INR500,000 bond

Former ICICI bank MD and CEO Chanda Kochhar got bail and was released on a cash bond of INR500,000. She appeared before a special court under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), and the amount will remain with the court till case disposal. Special judge directed that the former executive furnish sureties within two months, asking her not to leave the country without permission.
